Updates on Indirect Tax - Filing of Return Form to Royal Malaysian Customs Department
Kuala Lumpur, 19th March 2020 – Further to the implementation of Movement Control Order, the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (“RMCD”) has issued their Guides on Operation and Services (available in Malay language only click here) dated 17 March 2020, to be implemented during the Movement Control Order period:
1) All return forms and payment to be submitted to RMCD by 31 March 2020 are now extended to 15 April 2020.
2) All the meetings, discussions and round-table-discussions with RMCD are now postponed, except meetings or discussions that can be arranged through web/video conference. 3) “Hari Bertemu Pelanggan” that falls on every Thursday at Wisma Kastam, Kelana Jaya is now postponed.
